A national NGO, founded in November 2017, PRAYAAN Foundation is registered under the Societies Registration Act. In as little as 4 years, Prayaan grew into what we see today with myriad projects to ensure the participation of backward communities in nation-building by supporting the grassroots, educating all their children, and reinstating school dropouts, along with raising their educational and economic standards.
PRAYAAN places a strong focus on supporting the government and its agencies in reaching out with their diverse empowerment and development programs to the under-privileged strata, those classes to whom education has always been beyond reach.
Infrastructure in government schools is thoroughly assessed in terms of effectiveness and utility. In case of any deficiency or decrepitude, Prayaan collects sponsors who contribute enormously to its improvement. This project also extends HR support to government schools.
This program offers timely comments, suggestions, and recommendations to central, state and local authorities with regard to the quality of services, availability of staff, implementation of government projects, and draws their due attention to other neglected areas of civil service.
It is a Prayaan model school that has all the necessary features and facilities that any ideal institution should be equipped with in this day and age in order to ensure quality education and service. The school has grades from the 1 to 12.
It is a self-sufficiency project that gives unemployed men, women and people with disabilities formal vocational training for various occupations like sewing clothes, making pickles, etc and support them in finding lucrative markets for their products.
